Each sachet of powder for oral suspension REZOTUM phase containing:
Amoxicillin (as trihydrate Amoxicillin) ............ ..250mg.
Sulbactam (as sulbactam Pivoxil) .................. 250 mg.
Excipients: compercel M113, aspartame, citric acid anhydrous, sodium citrate dihytrat, aerosil, xanthan gum, fruit-flavored powder, lactose monohydrate 200 mesh ............ 1 package .vua enough.

REZOTUM antimicrobial composition is amoxicillin, a broad spectrum antibiotic beta-lactams beast. Resistant to amoxicillin-sensitive bacteria by inhibiting biosynthesis of cell walls mucopeptide bacteria.

Sulbactam (Pivoxil sulbactam) no antibacterial activity except Neisseria, Acinetobacter calcoaceticus, Bacteroides spp, Branhamella catarrhalis and Pseudomonas cepacia. However, biochemical studies on systems outside the bacterial cells (Cell-free bacteria system) proved, sulbactam inactivates potentially irreversible most important beta-lactamase enzyme of the bacteria resistant to penicillins and cephalosporins. The microbiology studies on the drug-resistant bacteria showed sulbactam likely prevent the destruction of the structure of penicillins and cephalosporins by resistant bacteria. Here, sulbactam showed a new synergy with penicillins and cephalosporins. Do sulbactam also binds with some penicillin binding proteins so for a number of sensitive bacterial strains, using a combination of sulbactam / amoxicillin is more effective as beta-lactams using a type. Combinations of sulbactam / amoxicillin with effective activity against all bacteria susceptible to amoxicillin and sensitive back previously bacteria resistant to amoxicillin. In addition, it demonstrates synergistic activity (minimum inhibitory concentration was decreased by 4 times the minimum inhibitory concentration of each component separately) against bacteria, especially gram-positive bacteria and gram sounds such as Staphylococcus aureus and S.epidermidis (including penicillin-resistant bacteria and the resistant bacteria 1 methicilin), Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus faecalis and other Streptococcus vaccine, Haemophilus influenzae and H.parainfluenzae (both 2 strain bacterial beta-lactamase and not produce beta-lactamase), Branhamella catarrhalis, anaerobic bacteria Bacteroides fragilis and both with their bacteria, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, proteus includes two types of indole (+) and indole (-) , Morganella morganii, Citrobacter, Enterobacter, Neisseria meningitidis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae.

Drink sulbactam / amoxicillin after eating does not affect systemic bioavailability. After therapeutic doses subactam / amoxicillin, the plasma concentrations of amoxicillin peak reached more than 2 times higher than the equivalent dose of oral amoxicillin. In healthy volunteers, the half-life of amoxicillin is 1.3 hours and 1 hour of sulbactam. Increased half-life in the elderly and patients with renal impairment. Probenecid reduces the renal tubular secretion of both amoxicillin and sulbactam. Therefore concomitant use of probenecid with sulbactam / amoxicillin increased and prolonged levels of sulbactam / amoxicillin in the blood. Sulbactam / amoxicillin diffuses easily into most body tissues and fluids. Fewer drugs penetrate the brain and cerebrospinal fluid of meningitis unless there is 50-70% sulbactam / amoxicillin excretion through urine intact.

Rezotum used only in cases of drug-sensitive infections and infections resistant to beta-lactams antibiotic group otitis media, pharyngitis, sinusitis, bronchitis caused by bacteria, urinary tract infections - urinary, gonorrhea, gastrointestinal infections, intra-abdominal, skin-soft tissue infections, bone and joint
Treatment and prevention of infection in abdominal surgery, obstetrics, septic abortion.

Use as directed by a physician.

The recommended dose for adults (including the elderly) and children over 12 years is 2 to 4 packs, 2 times / day.

Children under 12 years old is 75 mg to 100 mg of amoxicillin / kg body weight, divided 2-3 times / day.

How to use: Cut along the line pack, pour the powder into the cup. Fill in the pack, then pour into a glass of water from the pack. Stir for a few seconds and oral medications immediately.

The most common are diarrhea, loose stools, may also have nausea, vomiting, epigastric burning, abdominal pain - abdominal muscle spasm. Such as beta-lactams antibiotics other, colitis and pseudomembranous colitis rare.

Inform your physician about any adverse effects encountered during the treatment.

Contraindicated in persons with a history of allergy to beta-lactams group.
WARNINGS and caution while taking the drug. Following a hypersensitivity reaction (anaphylaxis) serious sometimes fatal have been reported in patients taking beta-lactams group. Therefore, before carefully appointed REZOTUM to ask previous history of allergies, especially allergy to beta-lactams group. As if any allergy treatment should be discontinued immediately and change to another suitable drug.
In the case of severe anaphylactic reactions, emergency need for adrenalin. If the need for oxygen therapy, steroid injections, making the airway including intubation.
For patients with renal impairment: In patients with severe renal dysfunction (creatinine clearance less than 30 ml / min), the possibility of the elimination of sulbactam and amoxicillin equally affected. Therefore, the ratio of the two drugs affect plasma unchanged. To reduce the dose and frequency of administration of sulbactam / amoxicillin in these patients.
Research on animal breeding experiments showed no effect on fertility and no harm to the fetus. However, be careful when using for pregnant women and nursing mothers because its safety has not identified.
